Zhani Llogori brings energy and harmony to his classroom through musical sounds. Always dedicated, he helps the children in his piano and singing course express their emotions through music.

From a young age, Zhani has been closely connected to music, participating in concerts and playing various musical instruments such as the piano and accordion.

He has several years of teaching experience. For many years, he has been part of the staff at the “Mihal Grameno” Cultural Center for Children, and for the past five years, he has held the position of piano and singing instructor at the Children’s City.

With a supportive and encouraging approach, instructor Zhani helps children develop their talent and passion. He believes that music is a universal language that aids in building self-confidence, discipline, and creativity.

Today, on October 8th, at 5:45 PM, a special event will take place at the “Çajupi” Theatre, where entry is free and the aim is to raise awareness about autism and children with autism. Part of this event will be the children themselves, who will take the stage to perform artistic interpretations, bringing a unique and emotional perspective.

Not everyone is aware of the challenges faced by individuals with autism, as well as the tremendous efforts made by parents, relatives, teachers, and society. Therefore, such activities are essential to shed light on these challenges and to remind us of our duty to educate ourselves and raise awareness about differences. Instead of stopping at prejudices, rejection, and bullying, we must take action to create a more inclusive and equitable society.

The discussion covered various themes, including education yesterday and today, the role of the teacher, their mission and responsibilities, as well as the concept of citizenship that transcends geographical boundaries.

The launch of the book “Korça, My Beloved” by the Korça author Athina Bino took place at the Public Library of Korça, where attendees had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with this new volume dedicated to her hometown.

The book, a collection of personal reflections and memories, captures the unique spirit of Korça, its culture, and the landscapes that define it. Participants discussed the feelings evoked by this book and its impact on preserving the cultural identity of the city. Author Bino shared her creative experiences and her deep connection to Korça, which inspired this work.

As always, in celebration of the European Heritage Days, the Museum of Education organized activities centered around school students.

This year, based on the theme “Paths, Networks, and Connections,” we planned the game “Treasure Hunt” in collaboration with the fourth-grade class from “Sotir Gurra” school.

The game involved finding a cultural heritage object hidden in the museum, retrieved from the archives. To locate it, students had to complete several steps while learning about the history of the Mësonjëtorja and key figures who fought for the continuity of education. After discovering the object, there was a discussion on the protection, conservation, and sustainable transmission of heritage to future generations.

Korça theater troupe will be performing for the first time in Worcester with a successful show from Korça.

The performance is titled “Bride Only on Paper.” It is scheduled for October 18. According to the organizers, efforts have begun to inform all Albanians, especially those from Korça, to attend this performance by Lenga Bungos featuring the actors from the Korça theater.

This show is expected to be a success due to the high level and quality of the performances.

The 11th edition of KO:SH Film Fest 2024 has concluded with the awards ceremony.

Forty-five films from 22 different countries were showcased during the festival nights at the Majestic Cinema in Korçë. Yesterday, six awards were presented, with the award for Best Film going to the Polish film “Me sy të lirë.”

The films were carefully selected through a lengthy process, and 99% of them were screened for the first time in Albania.

The International Short Film Festival is held for the seventh consecutive year in Korçë as part of the annual calendar of major national events, which have turned Korçë into a hub for cultural and artistic activities in Albania.
