The U-15 girls’ national team has started its training camp in Tirana since Friday, in preparation for the “UEFA Development” tournament for this age group. Under the guidance of coach Daniela Kodra, 20 red-and-black girls are conducting training sessions at the “House of Football.” In a statement for fshf.org, Coach Kodra expressed her happiness at being entrusted with the U-15 national team bench and hopes the squad will achieve positive results in the tournament.

“I’m very happy, and it’s a huge responsibility at the same time. I want to thank the Football Federation for the trust they have placed in me, and I believe we will succeed in achieving something good and providing these girls with the support they need to move forward and find the right path in football.”

Regarding the team, the Albanian coach expressed confidence in the players selected to represent Albania in this tournament and is pleased they have chosen to play for the red-and-black colors.

Albania will play its first match on Monday against Kosovo at 15:00 at the House of Football. On October 2, the red-and-black girls will face Estonia, and on October 5, Albania will play its third and final match of the tournament against North Macedonia. All matches will be held at the House of Football.

Skënderbeu’s men’s volleyball team seems to be returning to its glory days. This season, marked by numerous changes, has shown that Skënderbeu is a transformed team, with a complete overhaul of the roster and new players who have delivered outstanding results on the court.

With the championship already underway, Skënderbeu is consistently showcasing impressive quality and demonstrating that their ambitions are much greater than last season.

Just yesterday, they convincingly defeated Vllaznia at home, indicating that the men’s volleyball team is on the right track. The team now aims for the top positions and has the potential to achieve that. This Skënderbeu continues to impress match after match, which is certainly gratifying, as the men’s volleyball team truly is making a comeback.

Dinamo has defeated Vllaznia 2-1 at ‘Elbasan Arena.’

Although Vllaznia ended the first half of the match, valid for the 7th week of the Superiore, with an advantage, the Dinamo players turned everything around in the second half.

The turning point came after Vllaznia’s Sala was shown a red card, who was also the scorer for the Shkodrans in the first half. Dinamo initially equalized with Itodo Mandela in the 79th minute, with VAR intervening after the assistant referee initially flagged an offside. Then, Bregu turned it into drama, scoring for Dinamo in the final seconds of the match to make it 2-1.

In another match today, Teuta defeated Laçi at home with a minimal score of 1-0.

Another great match for coach Arben Prifti’s team this week as they won in Korçë against Vllaznia. In the first set, there were several moments of balance in points, but in the end, the Korçars won 25-20. In the second set, the score was tied at 17-17, and then the Korçars scored eight consecutive points, leaving the opponents with no chance. In the third set, Vllaznia gave everything they had, but the Korçars showed the calmness and strength needed to win 25-22.”

Albi Doka is a footballer who knows Tirana very well, as he has been part of the team. He has only joined the Korçë side a few weeks ago, and it seems he has not yet reached his full physical form.
