On the occasion of the 112th anniversary of the establishment of the State Police and within the framework of the “Open Doors for Citizens” week, the premises of the police stations of the Korçë Local Directorate were visited today by students from primary and secondary schools in the district, accompanied by their teachers and security officers.
The students were welcomed at the police stations by the station chiefs and the heads of the Public Order Sections, with whom they had discussions while visiting the facilities.
They showed curiosity and asked several questions regarding the duties and functions of the State Police officers.
Additionally, the students were introduced to the history of the State Police, in the context of its 112th anniversary, as well as some of the achievements made over the years.
The leadership teams of the police stations thanked the students and teachers for their visit and expressed their willingness for this visit to be followed by others. The students’ openness, through their questions and gratitude for the service they receive daily from the police officers at schools, streets, and neighborhoods in the district, created a very friendly atmosphere.
