Stable air masses will continue their influence, bringing clear and cold weather on the last day of 2024.
According to the Meteorological Service, the clearest skies will be along the coastline, while mountainous areas will experience mostly clear skies with occasional light clouds.
In the latter part of the day, the weather will remain dominated by clear conditions with intermittent clouds across the country.
Air temperatures are expected to rise slightly in both daily extremes, ranging from a minimum of -3°C in the city of Puka to a maximum of 17°C in the southern regions.
Winds will blow lightly both on land and at sea, reaching speeds of up to 25 km/h from the consistent eastward direction, causing negligible waves along the coastal areas.
