How much we have talked during these days about the legends that our city has, while we say with all our mouths that they are so numerous that it would take years to mention them. We are really proud of the Korcarians that we have so many legends, so many “icons” that the whole of Albania envies us.Today we will stop at a full-mouthed legend. Teodor Vaso turns 82 in September and it is enough to meet this man on the streets of the city, it is enough to talk to him, it is enough to honor him or take a photo and you immediately feel proud to have a man like Vaso by your side.No matter how much you talk about Teodori, no matter how much you write, you never manage to reveal all that Vaso has given to Albanian football. Many articles have been written, many decorations have been given, or they have honored him, but still it is not enough for Teodor Vaso.We are lucky in Korça to have such a great man next to us. We are proud, because this is what Teodori himself did to us, with his expensive feet.Vaso is known in Albania as the great man for that famous match he played against Germany, but that is very little.It is too little to talk about Teodor Vaso. Today he goes out on the streets of Korç like the others. And the greatest respect and honor they give him is that they know him big and small.Today we all bow with respect and gratitude to Teodor Vaso and we also feel so proud to remember this great name, saying: Thank you professor for what you gave on the football fields…Really thank you Teodor Vaso.Vaso, You are truly a legend and not only that, but a legend that will never be forgotten and you are an example of inspiration for all those who want to become footballers tomorrow.Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Professor Teodor Vaso.
