Kosovo – The National Institute of Public Health announced that yesterday a case of monkeypox infection was confirmed.
The infected person had recently returned from West Africa, where they had traveled.
“The case, a 30-year-old male, a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, was hospitalized at the Infectious Diseases Clinic/QKUK on 24.12.2024, after returning from a country in West Africa, presenting symptoms such as fever, chills, skin changes on the face, hands, and itching.
