Every State Police officer in an enforcement role will receive a bonus of 10,000 lekë (~100 euros).
The decision was made during the final Council of Ministers meeting for this year. The government recognizes and values the role of the State Police in enhancing security under the vision of ALBANIA2030. This vision includes significant investments in technology, infrastructure, and logistics.
With today’s decision, State Police employees are now among the workers receiving holiday bonuses at the end of the year.
In collaboration with other authorities, police officers have achieved significant results, ensuring greater safety and a peaceful tourist season. This bonus also serves as an incentive for them to continue their work with the same dedication, further improving the standards of service to citizens.
I am confident that with the government’s support and the commitment of its officers, the State Police will remain a model of strength and reliability in serving citizens. The coming year will bring new challenges, such as organizing free and democratic elections—where the Ministry of Interior and the Police play a critical role—as well as addressing organized crime and other illegal activities in the country.
