Korçë Border and Migration Directorate
Intensive checks to apprehend wanted individuals.
The services of the Korçë Border and Migration Directorate, in addition to implementing measures to manage traffic and eliminate delays, have intensified checks at border crossing points and the green border. The aim is to prevent and combat cross-border crimes and apprehend wanted individuals.
Three wanted individuals were apprehended at Qafë Thanë and Kapshticë border points.
As part of these efforts:
- At Qafë Thanë border crossing, police stopped M.D., 28, a resident of Drenovicë, Berat. He was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal offense of “Production and sale of narcotics.”
- Additionally, A.D., 62, a resident of Tirana, was caught and is being processed for the criminal offense of “Threatening.”
At the Kapshticë border crossing:
- E.P., 33, a resident of Elbasan, wanted for “Armed robbery committed in collaboration,” was apprehended.
- N.L., 28, a resident of Tirana, wanted for “Theft,” was also detained.
Both cases have been referred to the Elbasan Police Directorate for further legal procedures.
