The first babies of the year in Albania were born at the “Queen Geraldine” maternity hospital as soon as the clock struck midnight.
Twins Ares and Rajd are the first babies of 2025.
With the arrival of the New Year, two baby boys, twins, were born. The babies were delivered at the “Queen Geraldine” maternity hospital right at 00:00.
The news was also shared by Prime Minister Edi Rama through a post on social media.
“What a year has begun. Welcome, Ares and Rajd, wishing you a long life and a good start. These are the twins of 2025, who joined us healthy and well as messengers of a prosperous year, at the ‘Queen Geraldine’ maternity hospital, right as the clock struck 12:00,” Rama wrote.
