“Today, we held the third meeting of the Steering Committee for cooperation between central and local institutions with the French government expert, Mr. Jérôme Lebars, who is attached to the Prefecture to work on the project for the opening of the French Lyceum in Korçë. This initiative was proposed by Prime Minister Rama and warmly welcomed by President Macron during his visit to our country.
It was a pleasure to once again host Mr. Pierre Raynaud, the Advisor for Cooperation and Culture at the French Embassy in Albania.
To fulfill the task assigned by the Prime Minister, the Prefecture is supporting the French expert and closely assisting the process by ensuring the help and cooperation of institutions at both central and local levels.
This project is a continuation of the longstanding tradition of friendship between our two countries and will open new opportunities for many young people in our region and beyond, who in the future may choose this school for their secondary education, thus creating the opportunity for university studies in France.”
