Tomorrow (Friday) at 5:00 PM, Skënderbeu and Pogradeci women’s volleyball teams will play their first friendly match, nearly three weeks before the start of the championship for both teams.
This encounter, dubbed the “Derby” of the Korçë Prefecture, is essentially just a friendly match. The southeastern club announced tomorrow’s game, highlighting the need for test matches during this winter transfer and preparatory phase.
It is worth noting that Skënderbeu has just officially signed its first setter from Algeria, Rozi, while Pogradeci has been very active during this winter transfer window, bringing in several players.
As known, Pogradeci aims to finish in the top four and secure a spot in the “play-offs,” while Skënderbeu’s goal remains the championship title, which is non-negotiable.
Tomorrow’s friendly match at 5:00 PM, taking place at the “Tamara Nikolla” sports hall, is expected to be highly emotional. The Korçë club is calling for fans to fill the sports hall and support the teams.
Good luck to Skënderbeu and Pogradeci in tomorrow’s first friendly of the year, which certainly won’t be the last, as another test match is planned in Pogradec in the near future.
