The moment has arrived for Skënderbeu women’s volleyball team to play their first official match of 2025, and it will be the Albanian Cup match that opens this New Year.
Teuta-Skënderbeu is tomorrow’s match for the Albanian Cup, a game that the red-and-whites will aim to start the year with a victory, with a clear goal of winning the Albanian Cup trophy as well.
Tomorrow’s match kicks off at 16:00, while Skënderbeu has already left for the coastal city today. It’s important to note that for the Albanian Cup, Skënderbeu is in Group A, leading with 12 points from four matches. Teuta is in second place with 9 points, Barleti Volley is third with 2 points, and Dinamo is in last place with 1 point.
The Cup will continue with its matches until the final phase, and Skënderbeu heads to Durrës with the goal of securing first place in Group A one hour earlier.
It’s worth mentioning that a few days ago, during the winter preparation, Skënderbeu played a friendly match with Pogradec, losing 3-0, but certainly, from this defeat, the red-and-whites have learned valuable lessons and are ready to officially start this year with a victory tomorrow.
